We make spline mandrel with 0.05 run out to inspect gears in respect to spline concentricity. The gears in which concentric relation is required with respect to internal splines are made with the help of spline mandrels.

These are of 2 types Major Dia Location & the second is spline relation. The requirement is chosen as per the required inspection parameters required. If the component concentricity is required on the basis of Major Diameter then we design as per major Dia location mandrel & if the concentricity is required as per spline location then we make as per Flank fit or spline taper mandrel.
